Welcome to the official site of the Greek Institute of Ayurveda (EL.E.M.E.E.A.)

The main purpose for the constitution of the non-profit scientific institution under the name EL.E.M.E.E.A from all of us that each one by his own role promoted this science in Greece, is both the protection and the advocacy of its good fame in Greece and its communication and distribution to the Greek public. 

Having being in continuous contact with relevant Institutes of abroad and mainly of India which is the country of origin, AYUSH - the official state authority of Ayurveda in India, the Ministry of Health in India, the Embassy of India in Greece and, personally with the Honorable Ambassador Dr. Bhaskar Balakrishnan, we organize seminars, meetings, educational programs, publish books and write articles with the final aim of best advising the science of Ayurveda to the experts and the Greek public, so that each one is able to make the most right choices.

The role of EL.E.M.E.E.A. is imperative, mainly because since the full legislative context on the issue has not yet been completed in Greece, it is very likely that a lot of unauthorized and unsuitable persons may intrude into the area for representing it.
